Let’s speak about saturated markets and product selection today.
Dropshippers seem to have this one mantra:
“Find a winning product, or else…”
I always thought this is stupid.
That’s why I challenged myself to enter a heavily saturated market and document the entire journey.
I sold random watches and made $6,667 in under 8 weeks. You can read about it here.
The best? I didn’t even spend money on ads.
But some gurus got mad at me. Because I kinda busted their entire online course business in seconds.
They threatened me.
And what does a smart German dude do?
He does it again.
So I sold random sunglasses and made $8,873 in 31 days. You can read everything about it here.
And again, I didn’t spend any money on ads.
(Sorry not sorry, gurus)
Yeah, I didn’t show anyone how to become filthy rich in a matter of weeks. But I showed everyone what’s realistically possible.
Both times I entered hyper saturated markets.
I mean, watches and sunglasses. Com'on, it can’t get any more saturated than this.
But that’s amazing!
Saturation means demand. And demand is what you need, my friend.
You probably won’t become richer than Elon Musk, but you’ll make a good living. Or maybe just add some nice little side income. Whatever you prefer.
Don’t waste time on finding this rare winning product.
And don’t waste money on product research tools…
Pick a product everyone knows about, so you don’t have to educate about it.
Pick a product that’s picture-worthy, so they show it off on socials and you can collect photo reviews (they increase conversions like crazy, compared to text reviews).
Pick a product people don’t mind having two, three, or eight of. (it’s also great for subscriptions).
Pick a product you’ve bought for yourself, so you absolutely know people spend money on it.
And that’s it. That’s the framework you need.
You can care about saturation later.
That’s it for today.
Have a wonderful day.
